Golden Girls: Oliver Sykes Imagine
I didn’t believe in love at first sight and I never have and I told myself I never would. Until that day. She was a chase and it wasn’t easy. Usually, girls were falling for me left and right, but not her. She was different. What do I mean by different? Every way possible. She didn’t have to dress in small, tight clothes to get a guys attention because every guys head turned when her beautiful face entered the room. Countless guys had tried attempting to get her number and ever her name, but once they saw the other thing about her, they left. That’s why she was so protective of herself when guys approached her. She never melted over a guys looks, only if he was wiling to deal with the other part of her. That other part of her being her being the little one that clinged to her side. The little one was always dressed similar to her and I smiled every time they walked in. It seems like a stalkerish thing to do, watch them from a far, but I couldn’t build up the courage to talk to her. I’ve thought of countless ways to spark up a conversation, but never thought of one good enough.
I watched her walk into the shop everyday as I sat with my computer and songbook in front of me as I sipped coffee. She would walk in and the little one would be holding onto her hand tightly. Everyday, I could here her order and white chocolate mocha for herself and a hot chocolate for the little one. The little one would always high five the barista and she’d leave with a free cookie. That was their routine everyday. But, it changed. They walked in as usual and I saw them and this time, the little one saw me. She still held onto the girls hand but stared at me and smiled. I smiled back and she let go of the girls hand and approached me. “Hi.” She said in a sweet little voice. “Hello there.” I responded. She was taken back by my accent but smiled once she processed it. “Your arms have drawings. Just like my mommy.” She said as she studied my tattooed arms and hands. So, she was her mother?”I know.” I laughed. “Why’d you do that?” She asked. “My body is a journal and these drawings are my story.” I told her. “I want a journal. I had one but it’s done now. I drew pretty pictures of me and my mommy in it.” She smiled.
“Tell you what, I have a brand new one. If you show me what you drew everyday when you come here, you can have it.” I told her. “I promise!” She stuck out her pinky and I stuck out mine and she wrapped her little pinky around mine. “Anika, are you making friends?” I kept a hold on Anika’s pinky and looked up at the girl. Her white smile could shine up an entire city, her eyes could kill. Dressed in all black, two coffees in her hand, a piercing on her nostril, and ears stretched. You could tell she had tattoos by the marks on her hands. “Mommy, this man is giving me a journal!” Anika smiled. “And what is this nice mans name, Anika?” She asked her. “Oliver.” I said. Anika was still holding onto my pinky as I reached out my hand to shake the girls. “And you are?” I asked. “Secrets are things I like. My name is a secret for now.” She smiled. “Come on Anika.” She handed Anika her hot chocolate and grabbed her hand. “Bye Oliver.” The girl said. “Bye.” I quietly said as she walked out the shop. “Secrets, huh?”

“I’ll miss you.” I told her as I held her in my arms. We lay there silently, her head on my chest and my arms around her. She drew patterns on my shirt and took light breaths. I didn’t want to get up from my place, only to lay here. “I have to go…” She said. We both had been drinking, not much, but I still didn’t want to let her go. “I can’t let you go home that way cause I want you safe. Just stay here… We’re both leaving soon… Just one more night. ” she nodded and cuddled into me again. “Sing for me.” She whispered. I sang for her quietly as she played with my promise ring.
I woke up from my dream and breathed heavily. I wanted that moment again but I couldn’t do anything about it. I saw everyone getting ready for the AP awards and I was still in pajamas. “Alex, what’s wrong?” I heard my one night stand say. I called her my one night stand cause I totally forgot her name. “You gotta go.” Was the last thing I remember saying before she started yelling and throwing things and it sped up to me already coming out of the shower. Whenever I had dreams like that, time would speed up and I’d zone out too much because she’d be on my mind. We still talk like everyday but we don’t talk in the same way and that’s what bugged me. I knew she was going to be there tonight. Different memories, words she told me, even her touch kept replaying in my head.
It’s been four years and I barely realize, I need to do something. I need her. I grabbed my guitar and pulled Jack with me. “Come on.” I said. “Where are we going, Alex?” I just kept dragging him behind me. I need your help. I need to get her back. “I need her the way we used to be. Before we left. Before I left to Baltimore and she left to LA. She’s going to be there and this is my only chance.”
Before, I would keep telling myself that id move on and forget her but I can’t. Time seemed to pass because I was now walking down the red carpet taking pictures with the rest of the band. “Come on, Alex. Smile.” Jack said. “I know what happened. You wouldn’t stop talking in your sleep. You’re gonna be fine.” He whispered this time. I just nodded just like I had been doing all day. No words seemed to leave my mouth and I kept zoning out. I hated days like this. But, I knew I’d feel better when I sang for her live on stage. She’d know exactly that I’d be singing to her.
As i sat on stage with my acoustic in hand, I spotted her amongst the crowd. This is it…
Come Home: Part 4: Alex Gaskarth Imagine
I sat on the front lounge sofa and turned on the TV before I felt a buzzing on the side of me. I saw Y/N’s phone buzzing with texts from a Lisa’s number popping up. I confusingly picked up the phone and unlocked it. I typed in the pass code which was always the date of the day that Y/N and I first snuck out. I went to the texts and read the texts over and over. 'Have you left!?' 'You’re supposed to be gone.' 'You better not have told Alex about me blackmailing you, bitch!' 'Fucking answer me!' I dropped the phone and stood up quickly and looked towards the door as I saw Lisa walk in. She was looking at her phone and looked up at my shocked face. “You… tried getting rid of her…” I said. Her eyes grew wide, “she told you?!” She yelled. I took a step back as Lisa took one forward. “Does it matter? You tried getting rid of her!” I yelled again. “Because she’s been in love with you since high school, Alex! She would ruin what we have!” Lisa yelled back. “She loves me?” I asked.
“Yeah. But, she doesn’t matter. Because she’s not going to ruin us!” She yelled. “No she’s not… Cause you ruined it when you cheated on me. I love, Y/N…” I said. Lisa gasped and threw her phone at me, but I dodged it. “Fuck you, Gaskarth!” She said before leaving. I stood there still in shock. She loved me. And it became clear, everything was clear. Everything little thing she did for me, coming to my house at 2 am when I needed her, taking care of me when I was drunk, was because she loved me.
You parked your car in the beach parking lot and looked at your bag next to you and sighed. You got out of the car stood in the crowded square and looked up at the large pillars and smiled. This was your favorite place with Alex and it’d be the last time you’d see it and it made you sad. You couldn’t risk confessing your love for him. You’d rather him remember the good times with you then remembering you as the weird best friend who confessed her loved and got rejected. You reached for you phone in your pocket but found nothing. You looked in your coat pockets and no luck. “Looking for something?”
You spun around and looked into the red, puffy eyes of Alex. “A-Alex? What are you doing here?” You stuttered. “You didn’t want to hurt anyone… but, you ended up hurting yourself and me, Y/N.” he said. Your face and mind grew confused. He put the phone in his pocket and stared at you, “I love you, Y/N. I didn’t want Lisa. I didn’t care that she came back. I found out what she was doing. She tried getting rid of the person who I love and the person I love is standing in front of me, trying to leave me with good memories when she would’ve left me with hurt. “
Tears began rolling down your face and you said nothing but ran to Alex. You wrapped your arms around his neck and he wrapped his around your waist and he held you tightly. He held you tighter than he ever had. “I love you, I love you. I need you.” He whispered to you. You released from the hug and connected your lips with his. It was hard but sweet and something you wanted to do for years. You pulled from away from the kiss and stared into the eyes of the boy you grew to love over the years, “I love you.” You said to him. “Don’t leave and I won’t leave…. I’m here.” You nodded and more tears fell down your face. “I won’t leave. I will and forever will be waiting for you to come home.”
Teenage Dirtbag: Austin Carlile Imagine
Look at her go. Socializing, smiling, laughing, and just being her. I could only watch her from a distance considering that to society, she was popular and I was the outcast. Just like any typical high school love story, I loved the popular girl. I always told myself that I wouldn’t end up in love because it resulted in too much heart break and a lot of drama, but here I am. Loving the popular girl in secret. Loving the one and only, Y/N. I liked tattoos and rock and roll, she liked pink things and justin bieber. Well, it seemed like she did. She was an angel, and I’m just a teenage dirtbag.
"What are you guys looking at, dick butts?" One of the football players, Andy, said. Also, Y/N’s best friend who happened to like her, but not for the right reasons. There’s right reasons to like someone? Yes, there definitely is. "Well, considering your friend is getting his dick sucked RIGHT THERE, kinda keep your eyes off a slut and a dumbass." Alan retorted. The anger in Andy built up and he also stood up and prepared for him to come, but he was stopped by Y/N. "Andy, look we gotta go. We have to get ready for prom tonight." Andy looked at Y/N and back at us, flipping us off. He put an arm around her and walked off. Y/N looked back and waved at us, something she always did. She was always kind to everyone, yet here she was, walking off with a complete douchebag.
I sat at a table as I watched Alan make out with some girl, Phil and tino with their girlfriends, Aaron talking with another girl, and everyone at prom having a good time. Except, me. Nobody wanted to talk to A kid with tattoos and an all black suit. Apparently, it’s scary. I played with the little confetti on the table but was interrupted when I heard everyone go kind of quiet.my eyes wandered a bit, until they saw the angel at the top of the staircase. Black dress, black heels, hair and makeup done, tattoo on her shoulder, nose ring and piercings on her ear. I came to realize, it was Y/N. I saw Andy stomp up to her and grab her by the arm, trying to read his lips but failing. Y/N pulled her arm away and pushed Andy to the side.
I still stared at her as she walked over to me. She stood in front of me and smiled. I stared in awe and quickly stood up and smiled back at her. “Didn’t know you have piercings and a tattoo.” I told her. “Something I didn’t feel like telling people. Until today.”—-“whys that?” I asked her. She was looking at the ground, but reached into her bag and looked up at me. “Because he only persons opinion I care about is yours. And I know you won’t judge me.” I grinned as I looked into her eyes. She held up something in front of her face, “let’s get out of here.” I took a closer look at the papers and saw it was two tickets to see Iron Maiden in an hour.
I said nothing more, but reached down for her hand. I intertwined our fingers and kissed her hand before we both began running across the gym. “Y/N! What the fuck!” We both turned and saw Andy standing there with Y/N’s supposed best friend draped on him. I flipped him off and Y/N’s sweet laugh rang through my ears. We ran out of the gym and into my car. The beginning chapter of the Teenage Dirtbag and his Noelle.
Come home: Alex gaskarth imagine: Part 3
You stared at all of your belongings from your apartment in Baltimore, now packed in boxes and ready to be shipped away. Moving away would be the hardest thing you have ever done in your life. Either, you let Lisa tell Alex about your feelings for him and ruin your friendship here, or leave him with Lisa. You knew Alex would take her back, he has before, so why not now? You loved Alex, but you knew leaving would be the best thing to do. You didn’t wanna risk losing your friendship with Alex in the wrong way. Either way, you’d lose him but it’s for the best.
You closed the trunk of the car and met Lisa in the same place as yesterday. “Okay, everything’s packed.” You whispered. You felt useless at the fact that you let Lisa take control of you, but she made a point. It would be a horrible feeling to have confessed to Alex, him not feel the same way even though you knew ,and see him back with Lisa. “Okay good. This is the last time you’ll be seeing him. Say your goodbyes and then leave.” She strutted away in her short dress and high heels and you looked down. ‘Why would he even consider liking me?’ You thought to yourself.
You sighed and walked back to the Warped Tour grounds and walked to the All Time Low bus. You knocked and Rian let you in. He gave you a small smile and you walked passed him in the front lounge where everyone was in dress shirts and ties. “Y/N!” Jack yelled. He grabbed your phone out of your hand and threw it on the couch so that he could pick you up and spin you. You giggled and he set you down. “Why aren’t you dressed?” He asked with a small frown. You realized you were in a black shirt, black jeans, black doc martens, and a black peacoat. All black like you always wore.
All black like she always wore but not dressed for warped prom. She was never the type to wear dresses but I thought this would be a first. “Yeah, why aren’t you dressed?” I asked as I approached her. I stood in front of her and tried making eye contact with her. “I have to leave. Work stuff…” She mumbled. I sighed, “I wish you were going with me.” I told her. “I brought someone for you that wanted to go with you.” She mumbled. She walked away from my grip and walked to the door and Lisa walked in with Y/N behind her. “What the hell…” I mumbled. Lisa ran up too me and wrapped her arms around my neck tightly and I stood there speechless. “I’m sorry Alex. I really am. This is all my fault, Alex. I need you.” She quickly spoke. I hugged her tightly back. I told myself before that this time I wouldn’t go back to Lisa but I needed this. Knowing that Y/N wouldn’t feel the same about me, I had to turn back to a relationship I’ve known for years.
I let go of Lisa and saw Y/N with a weak smile. We stared at each other until she snapped back, “well, I gotta go.” She hugged us one by one but when she stopped at Zack, she hugged him a little longer, enough for me for jealousy to rise inside of me. I saw him whisper in her ear and he kissed her cheek. She smiled and kissed his cheek back and gave a small wave before walking towards the door. “Y/N?” I called out to her. She turned, “you’ll be there when I come home?” She weakly smiled, “yeah, I’ll be there.” She turned and left without another word. I replayed the weak smile she had on her face and needed why she was so sad to leave. She always knew I would come home, but what was different now?
Come home: Alex gaskarth imagine: part 2
I was sitting on the bus texting back and forth with Y/N about warped prom. Every text she sent made me smile wider and I swear my face was going to stay that way. I wanted to hear her voice so I decided on a call. But, there was no answer. I was confused and texted her, but no reply. What the hell… “Alex, come on.” Jack said as he stuck his head into the back lounge. “Um, yeah alright.” I left my phone on the couch and walked out with Jack into the hot Chula Vista air. Walking through the crowd at warped was horrible considering each time we walked closer to the stage, the more girls bombarded us. Thanks to the help of some by standing security, we made it to main stage.
We put in our in ears and grabbed our guitars and waited as the intro began. “Let’s do this.” Jack jumped up and down. Rian ran out first gaining a scream from the crowd and then the rest of us followed. I gave a small smile to the crowd and just gena playing and singing. Usually, Y/N would call to tell me good luck and that’s what gave me the energy to do great. As we got through four songs, I stood in front of the mic. My face a but emotionless, panting, and sweat running down my neck. I held onto the mic stand as I looked down at the ground.
My ears blocked out the screams of the crowd as a heard a voice come in through my in-ears. “Mr. Gaskarth, didn’t I say to kill it out here, what on earth are you doing?” I looked up and turned towards the guys and they were looking around. I looked side stage and no one was there. “You know where I am. Look straight.” I looked straight and I saw Y/N. Her smile wide and sitting in the sound booth. “There ya go. Now, get on with it.” She sat back in her seat and now the noise from the crowd came back to me. The rest of the set, I couldn’t get my eyes off of Y/N. Her smile, the way she got along with everyone in the sound booth, and how she always danced along with out songs even though she’s heard them a thousand times before.
"Y/N!" You saw Alex and his sweaty self running towards you. You didn’t care. He wrapped his arms around your waist as you wrapped yours around his neck. He lifted you off the ground, kissing your cheek and spun you before setting you back down. "How the hell-"—-"Matt got me here." You told him. He smiled again and hugged you before being stolen away by Jack. "Jacky, you stink more than Alex!" You laughed as he squeezed you. "Take it!" You laughed and pushed him off before giving Rian a hug and attacking Zack. "Hey little one." Zack smiled. "Hello, buff one." He laughed and pulled you into another hug, "I know. Do what you think is right." He whispered.
You stepped back and looked at him with a shocked expression. You stepped back from his embrace and turned to the guys, “I’ll be back guys. My bladder is full!” You said before quickly leaving the guys behind. You squirmed between the sea of people, some stopping you and asking for a picture with “Alex Gaskarth’s Best friend.” You left the warped tour grounds and began walking down the street away from the booming music. You finally made it to wear you meant to be.
“Okay, he knows I’m here.” You said. “Now, just leave the rest to me. Stay away from him, but you can enjoy the rest of today. After today, you’re gone.” She smirked. You began debating and started tapping your fingers on your leg, “or else, he’ll know.” You looked her straight in her eyes and sighed. “Okay…” You mumbled. She began strutting away before turning back to you, “remember, leave him alone, or he’ll know and I’ll be coming after you if you mess this up for me.” She said between gritted teeth.
“I know, Lisa… I know.”
Come home: Alex gaskarth imagine
I unlocked the front door to my shared house with Lisa, hands filled with things Lisa said we needed. I kicked the door open, stepped through and kicked the door shut behind me. I set the things down on the kitchen table and slipped off my jacket. I sighed and there was silence except a faint sound from upstairs. I was pretty sure I was home alone considering Lisa said she had work. I took no time in wondering what it was or taking my time walking up the staircase like in the movies where they decide to walk as slow as possible.
The closer I got to the bedroom door, I could hear the noise more clearly. It was Lisa, moaning. I opened the bedroom door and saw Lisa on top of some guy I didn’t recognize. Lisa gasped and jumped off him, “I thought you said your brother was gone!” The guy said. I started laughing, “brother?oh, that’s pure gold. Good job Lisa.” I walked to the closet, pulling out a suitcase and started throwing Lisa’s clothes into it. I saw her jump off the bed and towards me, “Alex, I can explain! Stop!” She tried grabbing my arm but I pulled back. “No need. This is the fourth time. You’re gone. I’m going on tour in a couple days, and I will not have you here. My parents will stay here to make sure you don’t ever come back.”
I stood outside in the heat of the storage parking lot, waiting for our tour bus. I waited with Jack and my best friend, Y/N. After the incident with Lisa, Y/N was the first one to come over and make sure I was okay. I cried and I’m not afraid to admit it. It was on and off but still the only real relationship I had. “Alex, I know that face, you’re thinking about it again.” I heard Y/N’s voice say. I turned and saw her looking up at me with her big eyes. “I know. I’ll be okay.” She walked off and sat next to jack on he curb and chatted with him. I’m pretty sure almost everyone knew this, but Y/N was a sight. The way her hair fell down her shoulders, her smile when she laughed, oh god, that laugh was intoxicating. Everyone always teased her about wearing all black, but i didn’t mind one bit. The baggy black Citizen t-shirt that was folded on the sleeves, her black jeans that were rolled on the bottom that showed her ankle tattoo, and her black vans on her tiny feet.
"Alex, you’re staring." I spun around and saw the bus behind me and Zack. "Uh…"—-"we all know you like her." He laughed. "I do not." I denied. "Yeah you do. The way you look at her… Is different. You never looked at Lisa the way you do. You may not see it now because of what just happened, but just wait." I stood there speechless as he grabbed my bag and loaded it on the bus. I looked at Y/N again as she was released from a hug between her and Jack. Jack ran onto the bus and Y/N walked over. She stood in front of me and looked up at me and smiled. "You know I’m just a phone call away if you need anything." She told me and hugged me. Her arms around my neck and mine around her waist felt as if it were they belonged. She let go and held onto my hands. "She won’t be there when I get back…" I mumbled. "I know. But, she’s a bitch for doing that to such an amazing person. You already know when you come home that I’ll be waiting here. Rain, shine, night or day,if you need me, I’ll get the first flight to wherever you are. Or if you just need to talk, I’ll stay up with you all night if I have to." I hugged her once more, "now, go kill it."
She let go of my hands and I looked back at her as I made my way to the bus. Jack opened the window and began waving and shouting bye at her. She laughed and waved back and I knew for sure, I’d miss her. The bus began moving and I watched out the window as Y/N walked to her car. I sighed, “it’s okay. It’s only 4 months.” Jack reassured me. Yeah, four months with my best friend.
